What's the Heart Attack?

When a portion of the heart muscle does not receive enough blood, this results in a heart attack. The heart muscle is more damaged the longer it goes without treatment to get the blood flowing again. Additionally, the tissue in the heart muscle dies when there is a lack of blood flow during a heart attack. 

When blood flow to the heart is severely reduced or blocked, a heart attack occurs. A buildup of fat, cholesterol, and other substances in the heart's (coronary) arteries typically causes the blockage of blood flow and thus leads to a heart attack.

What are the Symptoms of Heart Attack?

A heart attack may feel like pressure, fullness, squeezing, or pain. Pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw, or stomach are examples of symptoms. with or without discomfort in the chest. may include shaking violently, vomiting, or feeling dizzy. The mild symptoms of a heart attack may last anywhere from 2-5 minutes before subsiding with rest. A full heart failure with complete blockage endures significantly longer, some of the time for over 20 minutes.


How to Prevent Heart Attack?

We not only visit hospitals and spend a lot of money, but we also put our lives in danger because we live carelessly and improperly. however, it is possible to avoid having a heart attack by leading a certain healthy lifestyle.  In this regard, we can prevent heart attacks by adopting the following mentioned tips for a healthy heart. 


Eat Healthy Foods

Eating healthy and organic foods keep our hearts healthy and fit. Thus we can avoid heart attacks if we do not eat processed and junk foods. In order to further understand the importance of healthy foods you should read my another blog titled, "IMPORTANCE OF FOOD AND NUTRITION FOR HUMANS." 


Exercise Regularly & Stay Active

Stay physically fit and active in your routine life. Do some exercise regularly and walk around 6000 steps daily or from 30 to 60 minutes a day. Staying active, controlling our weight, doing some exercising, and walking a bit keep our heart stay healthy and fit. Therefore, make sure that you spare some time just to keep your heart healthy.  

On the other hand, staying busy and doing different physical activities will bring down your blood pressure level by keeping your heart and veins in great shape. You can also lose weight through regular exercise, which will maintain your normal blood pressure numbers (80/120).


Stay Away From Alcohol & Smoking

Both smoking and drinking are extremely harmful to our heart health. Therefore, avoid them both if you want to keep your heart healthy and work hard. Similarly, people who smoke and drink are more likely to develop heart attacks and cancer. Keep in mind that smoking and drinking alcohol are not only bad for your health but also waste a lot of money.


Sleep Properly & Avoid Stress

You may have heard a famous quote that "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise. Proper sleep of around 8 hours and avoiding stress can greatly help to keep your heart healthy and fit. This is why laughing, sleeping well and on time including staying away from anger and stress helps to keep your heart healthy.
