Allah says in the Qur'an, "We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech-like suspended thing), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)... " (Surah Al-Mu'minun, 23:12-14).

The purpose of human creation:

According to the Qur'an, human beings are created to worship Allah. Allah says in the Qur'an, "And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone)" (Surah Adh-Dhariyat, 51:56).

Human beings are Allah's vicegerents on earth: The Qur'an also teaches that human beings are Allah's representatives on earth. Allah says in the Qur'an, "Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:30).

The importance of gratitude for human birth:

The Qur'an emphasizes the importance of being grateful to Allah for the gift of human birth. Allah says in the Qur'an, "And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah)" (Surah An-Nahl, 16:78).

Overall, the Glorious Qur'an teaches that human beings are a special creation of Allah, created with a purpose to worship Him and serve as His representatives on earth. Similarly, the Glorious Qur'an clearly denies the hypothesis built by an English Biologist named Charles Darwin which says that we (humans) are homosapiens. This means that humans are the evolved and developed form of the Chimpanzees.

Similarly, Muslims have strong reservations about Charles Darwin's theory of "Natural Selection" or "Origin of Species".
