An Ode on the Significance of Father
Father is one of the two most important persons in our life alongside mother. It is he (father) who faces different hardships throughout his life so that we can live a comfortable life. Those who have lost their father at an early age, can understand the significance of their father.
However, in 21st century separation among parents is increasing day by day which is a point of great concern. We should address this burning issue before it's too late. I would rather urge parents that before getting separated, do think about your children and their emotions.
Through this poem, I have tried to pay tribute to all the fathers of the world including reminding you that how important your father is.
So, let's now read the poem.
Father: A True Tower of Strength!
In the realm of love, a steadfast guide,
A tower of strength, forever by my side.
A figure of wisdom, a heart so true,
This ode I pen, my dear father for you.
With gentle words and a comforting embrace,
You showed me the world, with its boundless grace.
Through laughter & tears, in both joy & strife,
You taught me the essence of a meaningful life.
In your calloused hands, I found safety & care,
A shelter from storms, a fortress rare.
Your words like melodies, tender & kind, Resounding in my heart, a treasure to find.
With patience unyielding, you held my small hand,
Guiding my steps, helping me understand.
Your dreams became mine, an inheritance divine,
Inspiring me to soar, to let my spirit shine.
In lessons taught silently, by example alone,
You taught me resilience, how seeds of hope are sown.
Through your unwavering love, I learned to be strong,
To face life's challenges & admit when I'm wrong.
From childhood's morn to adulthood's embrace,
You watched me grow, with unwavering grace.
You cheered my victories, wiped away every tear,
A constant presence, my father, always near.
Oh, father, your legacy will forever endure,
An unbreakable bond, strong & pure.
In my heart's depths, your love forever resides,
A guiding light that never subsides.
So, on this day, with gratefulness in my soul,
I honor you, dear father, for making me whole.
In every moment, your love I'll forever treasure,
For you, my beloved father, is my greatest pleasure.
Note: The author of this poem lost his father at a very age of merely two years old.
